Some Info On The Location:
The convention will be at Glesborg (postal code 8585) which is in the northeast of Djursland. For a map klick here (Java Applet):

The nearest Airport seems to be Aarhus - about 25km southeast of Glesborg. As Tina pointed out, there is "no reasonable public transportion" but it should not be a problem to organize some sort of shuttle service. Infos on the airport can be found here:

Some Info Concerning Travelling From Berlin By Bus
we asked for some offers at german bus-companies. Here ist the answer:
offer I (rainbow tours berlin)
Travelling will be in a modern bus with sleeping chairs, WC, aircondition and video.
prices for round trip: € 2.660,- incl. MwSt. (tax)
price for the bus in djursland: € 2.100,- incl. MwSt. (tax), plus lodging/food for the driver.
This seems to be too expensive. By the way I asked for the 02.09.04 because I thought the convention starts already on friday. But it might be ok. to start in Berlin early on the 3rd of september.
offer II (gullivers reisen gmbh berlin):
price: € 1.690,- incl. MwSt. (tax)
plus lodging/food for the driver.
price: € 2980,- incl. MwSt. (tax)
plus lodging/food for the driver.
some ideas concerning this offer:
If we could charter the bus for a whole week and get it completed (49 persons), it would be € 60,- / person. If we think about maximum charge of € 80,- up to € 100,- for one person, it will be also fine if only 30 persons driving. To charter the bus only for the weekend would be cheaper of course. We have to think about the two different dates to go back for the people attending the workcamp and those who don't.
I will watch out for other offers and need feedback from persons who will take this bus bindingly. How much are you able and willing to pay for travelling to djursland per bus?
From the webpage for registration of attendance we - as organisers - should be informed whether people come by own transportation or by train or by flight, as we have to consider local transportation by rented busses, from the railway station in Aarhus and from our local airport in Tirstrup (Arhus). The ordinary local bus lines on Djursland might not be able to cope with the amount of travellers without making a lot of people come late.
